AFAN

    1. Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) provides support and advocacy for adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada. AFAN works to reduce HIV infection through prevention education to eliminate fear, prejudice and the stigma associated with the disease.
    AFAN is committed to a system that nurtures personal growth and dignity of persons served, which is emphasized during orientation, ongoing staff training and the culture of our organization.

    The LGBT Community Center of Southern Nevada, a community-based organization, supports and promotes activities directed at furthering the well-being, positive image, and human rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community, its allies, and low to moderate income residents in Southern Nevada.

    Golden Rainbow provides housing and direct financial assistance to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada. Golden Rainbow is also dedicated to supporting HIV/AIDS-related education.

Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach Center.

    1. St. Therese Center, named after Saint Therese of Lisieux, is a Catholic ministry that welcomes and serves people of all faiths and extends the Lord’s healing to all persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
    Emphasizing wellness, Saint Therese Center reaches out to those touched by HIV/AIDS to provide spiritual, physical and emotional support, educational and social services in the spirit of love and compassion.

Sin Sity Sisters SADAP

    Sin Sity Sisters Mission Statement: “Our ministry is one of public manifestation and habitual perpetration. We work to raise money for our Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program (SADAP) and other community charities. We advocate for queer rights and visibility and conduct safer sex outreach. We work to affirm the value and beauty of all persons and particularly within the queer community. We strive diligently to keep our sense of humor, never taking ourselves so seriously that we forget to have fun.”
The Sin Sity Sisters are a community group and not related to any Cathoic Charity
